63There is so much in the past-but still so much still in the future.
There is no one else I would rather fight with...
When we fell in love,
It seems like so long ago.
We were both so young and we still had so much we did not know.
Though the years have sometimes been long, and haven’t always been kind.
I still feel as if this is a love that comes around once in a life time.
There is so much to do and learn about each other.
Something I am not sure I could find in another.
You are stubborn and you have the ability to make my blood boil.
Sometimes it feels like we are just like water and oil.
But then you make me laugh, when all I wish to do is cry,
And at that moment your love is my one and only lullaby.
You settle all my worries and all my silly doubts.
And you’ll tell me something that makes me crazy-like I’m so cute when I pout.
There are no words to describe, what you mean to me.
Without you holding my hand, where would I be?
We may not always agree on what is wrong or right.
But there is no one else I would rather pick a crazy, stupid, fight.
You say you don’t understand, and you love me so much.
But I say you don’t have to understand as long as you can just trust.
There is no denying, in any single way,
That we are very different as different as night verses the day.
If you can stand down and let me figure myself out.
I will do my very best, to never let you down.
I can’t promise not to get mad or have a valid point in what we choose to call a fight.
But if you can be my day, I promise I will always be your night.
Don’t worry about the past; there is no changing what has been done.
Because when life is over, if we are together- we have both won.
The odds are against us, our stress is very real.
But when you look at me, I know you know what I feel.
So with that being said, and my eyes filling up with tears,
I look forward to letting you love me through many unpredictable years.

Thanks for leaving such a kind comment. I was looking over some of my work I have posted on Hub Pages and realized, a large part of it is somewhat sad- I wanted to share apart of my life that is valued-happy and wonderful, which is being loved.
I am very lucky to have someone that has stood beside me, even though he is sometimes very confused by me. The whole term, "Opposites Attract" is a good way to describe us.
Which is probably a good thing, being-if I did not have him to anchor me-I fear I may have floated away a long time ago. :)

i really like this poem,i feel love is like an eternal flame, it goes through the wind of life but we have to keep it alive with our efforts,nobody is perfect and i think two imperfect people can alteast give a try to live a perfect life.
