Prose Poetry- Kept in a box of secrets
60
I cannot tell the truth- I cannot hold a lie
I can't feel the cold whisper on my spine
Save me.
And all that I believe is hell.
I can’t feel the cold whisper on my spine.
I cannot tell the truth,
I cannot hold a lie.
Seeping into heaven,
I feel as if it is hell.
I am warm from within,
I am worn from all who cares.

H.C Porter on Hub Pages Show me a Silent River, Prose Poetry to give words to feeling when you are fighting for the survival of a love that once was. Photography By H.C Porter - A Poem- I Gave My Belief to a Habit
HC Porter on HubPages writes about life and letting go of addiction. Addiction takes so much of who we are, that at times we struggle to regain our step to break our belief in a habit - A Poem- Reality stops the fantasy
A Poem for when life is cruel and people cause pain that is not understood. The key to survival is knowing who you are and what you are made of that will get you through after the trusted have lied.
Kept in a box of secrets
Kept in a box of secrets,
I kept you in a box.
I forgot about the key,
But I still recall the lock.
Hope isn’t answered,
Tingles on my spine,
You pray that I am different,
That I am one of a kind.
I scream out into tonight.
I scream out for you.
I am torn between the anger,
and the laughter that left too soon.
Show me more than life.
Show me more than this.
Show me how to silence the fear,
and finally begin to live.
Hollow heaps and screams,
Heaven found its peace on earth.
Can you feel me release my breath,
and shatter as you take your turn?
Don’t you feel the silence,
Cover us up in black?
Can’t you take my hand,
And make up for all it is I lack?
There is a heaven here on earth,
The tingles up my spine.
Take a deep breath in.
Breathe me in as turpentine.
Spin in circles created by you,
I used your poison,
Now I can finally feel the truth.

Simply beautiful. Words, pictures, song, it's all here.
There is much beauty here. There is much pain here. Yes to the quest of finding balance between mind, body, and spirit. I send you beacons of golden Light. I like to write about emotional recovery and miracles. Peace....Gary.
I would be happy to give you a deal (smile) and send you a signed copy of The Eby Way: Challenge, Release, Heal Your Painful Past. Blessings...Gary
